Getting Better Results From Descript

Record in a quiet space. Descript’s transcription is excellent but background noise affects accuracy. Cleaner recordings produce better, more accurate transcripts to edit from.

Use overdub for minor corrections only. AI voice generation sounds most natural for short corrections. Long overdub passages are more likely to sound artificial.
